RIP, our good mate, ...always jovial, and very entertaining, I sparred several times with Elliot in wrestling practices, "a true beast",... always believed He would have been a true force on the Footbll Field, [nose tackle] spot,... He and Sean Anderson, both big men,... I don,t recall any 7 footers in our large class??? our hoop team could have used that! elliot, my friend,...you will... always remembered,...
We have more "missing" classmates, than 80% of high schools had total students...but they are not truly missing,... just unwilling, or incapable of participating... I have an idea that would likely result in over 90% participation, of the website, and the re-union event...just have to finalize the mathematics...
Perhaps, so as to appease the masses, we entertain the prospect of 2 reunions, a "B" flight, =(standard, simple, local, casual), and , on a different date, "A" flight, to a quality [all-inclusive],sun, surf, seafood, golf, tennis, water sports, coffee shop, 7 restaurants, shows, concerts, casino,... all are made aware, all are welcome, zero pressure, you can attend both if your a true Blue Devil,
Ed was a good freind, and an excellent dentist.Ed was a teammate and fun to hang out with. He had great parents, brother and sisters. He was our family dentist, and to this day, neither my son nor daughter have had one cavity, and both have outstanding, strait, super white teeth. I was with Ed, not so long ago, so it is a real shock and a sad ending, to a life filled with such talent and skill. Maybe there's more to the story, and everyone has a (secret burden) or a cross they must carry, but Ed never displayed that, and I wish I had the chance to reach out to him, and offer some advice to change the outcome. Ed liked Pitt fOOTBALL, bASKETBALL, bASEBALL, , the Pirates, the Steelers, the Penguins and all things Pittsburgh, I will miss you , Rest in Peace my good brother, your freind, and fellow Blue Devil ,Phil Fagan.
